• We’re submitting proposals to local education institutions for literacy programs targeting at-risk youths. We’re working directly with schools to attract young people to publishing, writing and positive self-expression.

• We are soliciting local businesses for time, volunteers and resources to help underperforming, neighborhood schools.

• We’re creating free publications that offer an improved quality of life.

• We participate in community events and activities, putting our dollars back where they belong. We invest in our own!

Culturally rich, immensely colorful and wonderfully diverse, our community thrives with love and attention. As we grow, we will continue to help our community grow with us. Our plans for the future include a sustained and aggressive outreach to young people, along with partnerships with grassroots organizations. Working closely with our sister company Swing Street Publishing, Alight is truly committed to helping others move forward!
