Our environment is in need of our protection. Global warming, deforestation, Greenhouse gases are wreaking havoc on animals and biodiversity, As a publisher, Alight is committed to going “Green”, ensuring our responsible role in preserving the environment. We’re focused on environmentally-sound products and policies in an effort to pioneer the publishing industry’s ‘Green’ Transformation. Here are some of the ways in which Alight has established our own Green Initiative:

• We conduct regular “Carbon Audits” at our offices to ensure we stay on the cutting edge of environmental protection.

• We recycle all paper, plastic, glass and the aluminum products we use.

• We use post-consumer materials (such as recycled, uncoated paper) and FSC-certified papers whenever possible.

• We are reducing the amount of packaging we use for our products.

• We are reducing our use of fossil fuel.

• We buy and use energy-efficient equipment, appliances, lighting and heating systems.

• We’re making our publications available in digital format to save paper.

• We support lobbying efforts to ensure other cities, states & nations are also going Green.

• We are promoting Green Transformation to our customers and associates to help save more trees.

• We are joining forces with other companies that share our goals and concerns.
